Everyone is welcome – no need to be a member.

Here at the Ruth Winston Community Centre, we love to welcome non-members to take part in our Community activities, events, talks and services.

Take a look below. Contact details are provided for each activity. When you find something that interests you please book a space.  Come along and join in! 

Room hire 

Rent one of our rooms for your private event, meeting or class. We have rooms of different sizes, some with kitchenettes. We also have a small hairdressing/treatment unit, a computer room with 9 workstations and a fully equipped kitchen, all available for hire. Open Mic Karaoke Evening – FREE Fundraising Event on 14 August 2026

Join us for a fun evening of Karaoke. No entry charge, fully licensed bar and pre-bookable meat or vegan platters. See our poster for more details.

Palmers Green Festival – 6 September 2026, 12 noon- 5pm – FREE Entry

We are taking part in the Palmers Green Festival in Broomfield Park. So take this great opportunity to meet us and find out what the Ruth Winston Centre has to offer you – as member, volunteer or both.  Then enjoy some food and drink, live music, dance, shopping, art, dog show and more. These are provided by independent teachers using our rooms and are not run by the Ruth Winston Centre.

Alternative therapies

A number of independent health and wellbeing practitioners hire rooms in the Ruth Winston Centre .  Anyone can book to see them and they may offer reduced rates for Centre members.  Ruth Winston Centre does not run these services.
